Informed by nature, memory, and emotion, Rebecca’s paintings sit between abstraction and landscape, evoking shifting light, distant mountains, seascapes and untamed fields. Subtle layers of colour create depth and atmosphere, while an intentional ambiguity of place invites viewers to bring their own memories and interpretations to the work.
The paintings embrace spontaneity and movement. Inks and watercolours are poured and guided across the canvas, allowing pigments to flow, merge, and settle organically.
