Open plan living - Styling artwork

Artwork in an open-plan living room can anchor the space and instantly draw the eye. Since this is often the main gathering area of the home, I see it as the perfect place to express personality. I like to choose pieces that tell a story — art that reflects meaningful places, emotions, or subjects that resonate with me.

With such a large, open space, scale becomes important. I look for artwork that’s substantial enough to stand confidently on its own or pieces that can be arranged into a balanced vignette.
